Encore Youth Theatre is Winchester’s only youth theatre specialising in musical theatre. We offer young people from Hampshire experience in all aspects of theatre production from the audition process through to performing on stage in front of sell-out audiences at the Theatre Royal Winchester.
On stage
Encore auditions are held in July. To join the company you must be 12 years old by the following February half term. We challenge the company with different disciplines each year and usually supplement rehearsals with workshops and theatre trips.
Off stage
We are now offering the opportunity to develop off-stage skills for those interested in the more technical aspects of theatre production. If you love the theatre but prefer to shine behind the scenes join our dynamic company as part of the Production Team. Guys & Dolls
